We aim to be as environmentally aware as possible in all our working practices.  Being involved in tree/garden work we are constantly in close contact with nature on a daily basis, and feel it vitally important to do our up-most to respect and protect life in the environment in which we work.

Prior to commencing work, we carry out inspections on the presence of bats, nesting birds and other animals in the immediate vicinity.  If found we will consult with the appropriate authority and/or postpone work till its viable to continue

We re-cycle all our waste:

  •  the wood chips are allowed to degrade; eventually being spread on boarders as an excellent mulch (helping keep weeds down and retain moisture in the soil).
  • all decent quality hardwood is stored, allowed to season, eventually being sold as logs.
  • where possible we try to retain sound good lengths of timber, season them and finally saw them into planks/beams to be used for building.
  • all other waste such as; softwoods, hedge trimmings, grass cuttings etc. are disposed of at a composting site.
