Logs


The burning of wood to heat the home is more environmentally friendly than using central heating, coal or gas, as it is derived from a renewable source - trees.  Also there is nothing nicer than sitting by a cosy crackling fire during winter.

Throughout our day to day tree work, a large amount of wood has to be removed from site. The quality hardwoods are left to season, eventually being split into logs for household fires (either open fires or wood burning stoves).

A full load of logs consists of a level transit load tipped in a suitable spot. We can also deliver half loads. Moving and stacking of the logs can be done for you at an extra charge. One load constitutes 2.5 cubic square metres.
